Left Turns Only Baseball was founded in 2024 by JD Williams. Despite coming from a non-baseball background where my parents never played the sport, I was determined to pursue my passion. I spent countless hours searching for major league hitting drills and side camera angles of MLB players, striving to imitate them as best as I could. I often wished that an MLB player would walk down the street, see me, and take me under his wing. However, this isn’t Hollywood, and that never happened.

I had to learn through trial and error, and I was fortunate to have tremendous coaches who guided me along the way. Through my perseverance and dedication, I was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2015 MLB Draft.

During my career, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from Hall of Famers, World Series winners, record-setting players, and Rookie of the Year—the list goes on. These experiences were invaluable and deeply enriching.

Now that my professional playing career has concluded, I feel a profound responsibility to share the wealth of knowledge I have accumulated over the years. My goal is to impart everything I know and continue to learn because there may be one kid out there, just like me, searching for guidance in the right direction.
